GoodWe Unveils Advanced Solar-Plus-Storage Solutions at Intersolar Europe 2025

GoodWe Launches New Solar-Plus-Storage Solutions at Intersolar Europe 2025

At Intersolar Europe 2025, GoodWe reinforced its position as a global leader in energy storage by unveiling its latest solar storage solutions for both residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) markets. Presented at the company’s booth (Hall B4, Booth 210), the launch showcased upgraded storage systems featuring enhanced safety, intelligent energy management, and improved return on investment—designed to meet changing market needs and technological progress.

Driving Customer Value through Future-Proof Energy Ecosystems

“As a mission-driven company, we are committed to accelerating the smart energy transition by delivering safe, efficient, and AI-driven solutions across power generation, grid, load, and storage with smart control,” said Daniel Huang, Founder and CEO of GoodWe. “This launch marks a significant milestone in GoodWe’s journey toward becoming a fully integrated smart energy solutions provider.”

Flexible Storage Powering Energy Independence for Homes & Businesses

Under the EcoSmart Home portfolio, the newly launched ESA residential system (3–10 kW / 5–48 kWh) took center stage with its All-in-One architecture, offering a sleek and powerful solution for homeowners seeking energy independence. This compact system is designed with storage scalability, aesthetics, and quiet operation in mind for modern home environments. With a built-in battery optimizer, the product supports the expansion of existing batteries with new units of the same type for ease of future expansion.

In the commercial segment, GoodWe expanded its portfolio to serve the needs of businesses, ranging from small to large-scale industrial setups. Key highlights included the ET50 hybrid inverter paired with the BAT100kWh battery cabinet, as well as the debut of the All-in-One ESA 125kW / 261kWh C&I system.

GoodWe C&I ESS are designed to support grid-interactive microgrids, PV-plus-storage retrofits, backup capability, and MW-capacity expansion, helping businesses reduce costs, enhance system resilience, and realize long-term ROI.

Safety First: From Rooftop to Underroof, Across Various Scenarios

Safety was strongly emphasized at the launch event when it came to storage. The ESA residential system features a six-layer safety architecture covering everything from cell-level protection to emergency response. It includes top-tier battery cells, intelligent electrical protections, and a high-strength enclosure.

This safety-first approach extends to the C&I sector, where even higher safety standards are required. As a testament to GoodWe’s safety commitment, the ESA125kW/261kWh C&I storage system received certification from TÜV Rheinland for its comprehensive environmental adaptability, with the awarding ceremony taking place during the event.

To further safeguard rooftop systems, GoodWe integrates AI-powered Arc Fault Circuit Interruption (AFCI) 3.0 and Rapid Shutdown (RSD) 2.0 technologies to enhance installation and operational safety.

Save Smart: EMS as Brain of the System

With dynamic pricing policies introducing new complexities, the intelligent Energy Management System (EMS) is emerging as a key trend. In response, GoodWe has developed its AI-driven EMS to enable a smarter way to store, use, and save energy.

For homeowners, GoodWe’s Home Energy Management System (HEMS) is designed to support smart and informed decision-making. The software intelligently coordinates PV generation, energy storage, EV charging, and heat pump operation to maximize self-consumption while minimizing reliance on the grid. Households can reduce electricity bills by up to 30% compared to traditional systems.

GoodWe’s hardware products have also been upgraded to ensure compatibility with the EMS. The new residential ESA series now supports AI-driven energy management.

For commercial and industrial (C&I) customers, GoodWe provides added value by optimizing self-consumption, enabling smart energy usage, and facilitating power exchange. The system is compatible with third-party EMS protocols, allowing participation in energy trading and grid services.

Better Together: Strategic Partnerships Announcement

To further strengthen its market presence, GoodWe signed strategic cooperation agreements with partners to accelerate distribution, project development, and service networks across Europe—reinforcing its role as a trusted partner in energy transition.

“GoodWe is committed to advancing reliable, high-performance energy storage solutions that drive customer value,” said Jie Zhang, Managing Director of GoodWe Europe. “These new partnerships represent our long-term commitment to the European market. By deepening local collaboration and accelerating project execution, we aim to create a more responsive and robust service network that helps our partners succeed in the fast-evolving energy landscape.”
