Biwatt, a pioneer in sodium-ion battery technology, is unveiling its cutting-edge innovations in sustainable energy storage at Solar Solutions Düsseldorf. With a strong commitment to accelerating the transition to renewable energy, Biwatt’s sodium-ion batteries stand out for their eco-friendly design and outstanding performance, even in harsh cold climates. By harnessing the power of this advanced technology, Biwatt is helping to drive the global adoption of cleaner, more efficient energy solutions.

Owen, CEO of Biwatt, said in a statement,”At Biwatt, we are dedicated to advancing sodium-ion innovation to deliver sustainable, safe, and cold-resistant energy solutions. Our sodium-ion technology provides unmatched safety, minimal environmental impact, and adaptability to diverse climates, making it an ideal choice for Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific markets.”

Biwatt’s PowerNest product line highlights its commitment to delivering efficient and sustainable energy solutions. In 2024, the company successfully expanded the commercial rollout of its sodium-ion storage systems across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and North America. Among the flagship products are the all-in-one sodium-ion units W1/W1 Pro, the versatile low-voltage stackable battery R2, and the single-phase inverter models H1/H1Pro.

Looking ahead, Biwatt is set to introduce new innovations, including the three-phase inverter H2 and the balcony PV storage battery B1, both scheduled for launch in Q1 2025. Additionally, a high-voltage stackable battery will follow in Q2 2025. These advancements demonstrate the full potential of sodium-ion technology, providing safer, more sustainable energy storage solutions for residential applications.

Expanding beyond residential energy storage, Biwatt is introducing a range of tool-oriented sodium-ion products, including the P1 lead-acid replacement (12V 100Ah), the P2 starter battery (12V 70Ah), and a high-performance jump starter. These products take full advantage of sodium-ion’s high-rate discharge capabilities and excellent low-temperature efficiency, ensuring reliable operation even in challenging environments.

To further its mission, Biwatt has entered into strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with three influential partners—Salzstrom, NDES Group, and inesco. Together, they aim to drive the commercialization of sodium-ion energy storage and accelerate the development of environmentally friendly energy solutions.
