ACCURE Battery Intelligence Wins Big With Energy Storage Safety Product Of The Year Award

ACCURE Battery Intelligence, a leader in predictive battery analytics, has been honored with the 2024 Energy Storage Award for Safety Product of the Year. Their advanced platform uses AI, machine learning, field data, and modeling to continuously monitor and assess battery energy storage systems (BESS) and EV fleet batteries in real-time through the cloud.

The software detects anomalies, manufacturing defects, and equipment issues that could lead to safety incidents, providing operators with weeks of advanced warning to take action. The Energy Storage Awards, hosted by Solar Media, celebrate outstanding achievements in the European energy storage industry.

Kai-Philipp Kairies, CEO and co-founder of ACCURE, said in a statement, “ACCURE Battery Intelligence is laser-focused on making sure that batteries are safe, reliable, and sustainable, and we’re incredibly honored to be recognized by the Energy Storage Awards. With the global energy storage market on track to grow 10x by 2035, it is critical that every effort is made to ensure that the batteries being placed within our communities are safe.”

Recent incidents in countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, and South Korea have raised concerns about battery safety in communities. ACCURE’s innovative predictive battery analytics technology helps address these issues by monitoring battery systems, detecting problems, and providing actionable solutions to prevent accidents before they happen.

By proactively managing battery systems, ACCURE enhances safety, protects communities, and promotes the use of clean energy. To date, their software has prevented more than 100 potential thermal runaway events by identifying faulty battery cells, malfunctioning equipment, and other risks globally.
