TCL SunPower Global Partners With Comet S.p.A. To Distribute TCL Solar Panels Across Italy

TCL SunPower Global has formed a strategic partnership with Comet S.p.A., a well-established distributor of electrical products and solutions in Italy. Through this agreement, Comet will distribute TCL Solar panels across the regions it serves, significantly increasing access to TCL’s advanced solar technology for both installers and end customers. This collaboration represents a key step in TCL SunPower Global’s broader European expansion strategy and reflects a mutual commitment to supporting Italy’s transition to clean energy.

Since 2008, TCL SunPower Global has offered premium solar products to the Italian market through its dedicated SunPower partner network. Building on this foundation, the company is now expanding into wider distribution channels under the TCL Solar brand. This new product line introduces high-performance, cost-effective solar solutions designed to meet the growing demand for accessible and reliable renewable energy options across the country.

Comet, based in Bologna, brings decades of experience in the fields of consumer electronics, electrical systems, and energy solutions. With its extensive retail presence and strong logistics infrastructure, Comet is well-equipped to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of TCL Solar products to installers throughout its network. The partnership enables Comet to offer the full range of TCL Solar panels, which are built with robust glass-glass construction and are backed by comprehensive warranties. These panels are designed to deliver consistent performance and energy output under a variety of real-world conditions found across Italy’s diverse climates and rooftops.

Steven Zhang, General Manager of TCL SunPower Global, stated, “Partnering with Comet is a natural step forward for us. This partnership represents more than market expansion; it’s about aligning with a distributor that understands the evolving needs of Italian consumers. Comet has a long history of successfully bringing TCL TVs and electronics to Italian households, and with its reach and reputation, we’re confident that TCL Solar panels will become a go-to choice for installers seeking performance, style, and dependability.”

Ivano Benedet, Manager at Comet Group Renewable Energies, “With TCL Solar, we’re choosing a partner projected towards the future of renewable energy. TCL solutions combine efficiency, durability, and smart design, perfectly aligned with Comet Group’s philosophy of enhancing everyday life through innovation and sustainability. This partnership empowers households and businesses to reduce energy costs and gain greater energy independence.”

The partnership offers several practical benefits to both installers and customers. With Comet’s logistics capabilities, products can be delivered quickly and reliably. The expanded range of TCL Solar panels ensures that installers can select solutions tailored to different project sizes and budgets. Additionally, customers benefit from reliable solar technology backed by a 25-year warranty, developed by a globally recognized brand with deep expertise in consumer electronics and solar energy.

To build momentum around this collaboration, Comet will launch a regional post-summer tour aimed at installer customers. The tour will showcase TCL’s full catalogue of solar solutions and promote greater adoption of clean energy technologies throughout Italy. This partnership marks a significant development for the Italian solar market, combining advanced technology, trusted distribution, and a shared focus on sustainability to drive progress toward a cleaner energy future.
