SiS Distribution Thailand Enters Solar Market with Private PPA Model, Signs First Deal with Mplus Thai Sinsap

SiS Distribution (Thailand) Plc has officially entered the renewable energy sector by launching its new Private Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) model, offering turnkey solar energy solutions to Thai businesses with zero upfront investment and 15 years of complimentary maintenance.

The initiative is designed to help mid-sized and large businesses—such as factories, hotels, warehouses, and hospitals—with electricity consumption between 100 to 500 kilowatts, significantly reduce operational costs. Under the model, clients can save up to 30% on electricity bills, while avoiding the financial barrier of capital expenditure.

To ensure the reliability of its solar infrastructure, SiS is deploying premium equipment from leading global brands including LONGi, Huawei, SolarEdge, and RRacks.

The company’s first project under this model has been signed with Mplus Thai Sinsap Co Ltd, a retailer of electronic appliances and financial services provider. The installation is expected to generate substantial electricity savings for the business, which currently incurs monthly power costs of around 72,000 baht.

To deliver a complete end-to-end solution, SiS has partnered with Chang Solarcell Technology Co Ltd, an experienced engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firm specializing in solar system design and implementation across commercial, residential, and agricultural sectors.

“This model is built to empower Thai businesses to grow sustainably, lower their energy expenses, and achieve ESG targets—without the financial burden,” said Somchai Sittichaisrichart, Managing Director of SiS Distribution.

The company aims to expand rapidly, positioning itself as one of Thailand’s most comprehensive solar energy service providers for the business sector within three years.
