Lithuania-based Gevalda has begun construction on what is expected to be the first station in the Baltic States to produce and supply green hydrogen for vessels.
The station, which will be located at the Port of Klaipėda, is slated to produce 127 tonnes of hydrogen per year.
“We have reached a very important stage of this ambitious project – one that is now visible not only in documents but also on the ground: construction is underway,” said Algis Latakis, Director General of the Klaipėda State Seaport Authority.
