Saatvik Green Energy Limited has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for the installation of 1,500 solar water pumping systems under the Magel Tyala Saur Krishi Pump Yojana (MTSKPY) / PM-KUSUM – B Scheme for the year 2025–2026. The project will be implemented across multiple districts in Maharashtra and will include pump capacities of 3HP, 5HP, and 7.5HP DC solar submersible pump sets.

The scope of work covers the complete lifecycle of the systems, from design, manufacturing, supply, and transportation to installation, testing, and commissioning of the off-grid DC solar PV water pumping units directly at farmers’ locations. Additionally, Saatvik Green Energy will provide a five-year system warranty along with repair, maintenance, and a remote monitoring system (RMS) to ensure sustained performance and long-term farmer satisfaction.

Speaking on the achievement, Mr. Prashant Mathur, CEO, Saatvik Green Energy Limited said: “We are proud to partner with MSEDCL on this important initiative. Solar-powered irrigation not only empowers farmers by providing reliable water access but also supports India’s larger goal of sustainable and self-reliant agriculture.”

This project represents a significant step forward for Saatvik Green Energy in the solar-powered agriculture sector. Having previously expanded into solar pump solutions in Maharashtra, the company continues to strengthen its presence in rural energy applications by supporting clean, cost-effective, and sustainable irrigation solutions for farmers. The initiative not only contributes to reducing dependency on conventional energy sources but also aligns with the Government of India’s broader goals of promoting renewable energy adoption and rural empowerment.
