Linde LienHwa (LLH) has signed a long-term agreement to supply ultra-high-purity gases to a state-of-the-art semiconductor advanced packaging facility in Chiayi, Taiwan. The facility, owned by one of the leading global semiconductor manufacturers, marks a key development in Taiwan’s growing role as a hub for semiconductor innovation.

Under the agreement, LLH will build, own, and operate a complex of on-site plants to supply ultra-high-purity nitrogen, oxygen, and other bulk gases critical for semiconductor manufacturing. The company has committed an investment of approximately $190 million for the project, with operations expected to commence in August 2025.

Alex Tong, President and General Manager of Linde LienHwa, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “We are proud and excited to have been selected as supplier to this major new facility. Our track record of safe and reliable supply over the last four decades has made Linde LienHwa the partner of choice in Taiwan. Leveraging our innovative technology and extensive experience, we continue to deliver solutions for our customers to help make them more efficient.”
