India-based manufacturer Tata Steel will hand over the operation and maintenance of an air separation unit (ASU) at its production facility in Jamshedpur, India, to industrial gas company Air Water India.
The ASU is already on site and is “currently under stabilisation”, which suggests it has been built (or substantially constructed) and Air Water will step into the role of running the facility.
The plant is expected to produce 1,800 tonnes of oxygen per day, along with nitrogen, argon, and compressed air.
