Asia electronics growth drives customer demand at Linde

Electronics was industrial gas major Linde’s fastest growing end-market in the third quarter, accounting for 9% of sales and up 6% year-on-year.

CEO Sanjiv Lamba, speaking on , said the result excluded an additional 2% of sales in Taiwan through a joint venture.

Growth in electronics specialty gases is evenly split between project startups, processed gases and advanced materials, and primarily fuelled by advanced chip production in South Korea, Taiwan and US.
