US chemicals company DuPont has completed the separation of its electronics business into an independent public company, Qnity Electronics.
DuPont unveiled the Qnity brand in May, having created the company as part of its planned spin-off of the electronics segment of its business.
At the time, it said Qnity would be one of the largest and broadest solutions providers to the semiconductor and electronics industries supporting advanced computing, smart technologies, and connectivity.
Lori Koch, CEO of DuPont, described the separation as a significant step in the company’s transformation into a more focused and agile multi-industrial company.
