A delegation led by Mr. Paulo Camati, Chairman of New Time—a leading Italian glass manufacturer and photovoltaic building materials company—recently visited Huasun Energy’s headquarters in Xuancheng, China. Huasun Chairman Mr. Xiaohua Xu and company executives welcomed the delegation for in-depth discussions on cooperation in Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) and high-efficiency heterojunction (HJT) technology across European markets.

As a global leader in high-efficiency solar innovation, Huasun Energy has made significant progress in HJT and perovskite tandem cell technologies. Its self-developed HJT-perovskite tandem cell recently achieved a record-breaking conversion efficiency of 34.02%, setting a new industry benchmark and providing a strong technical foundation for integrating photovoltaic solutions into buildings, transportation, and other applications.

During the visit, New Time’s delegation toured Huasun’s R&D and HJT production facilities. Both companies agreed to strengthen collaboration in three key areas: localized manufacturing of Huasun’s high-efficiency HJT modules in Europe, joint development of customized BIPV solutions tailored to European standards, and innovation in agrivoltaic products, including vertical and semi-transparent PV modules. This strategic partnership aligns with Europe’s “Fit for 55” climate initiative, advancing renewable energy integration and accelerating the decarbonization of the building sector through cutting-edge solar technologies.
