MAHAGENCO Awards 300 MW Solar Projects To Pace Digitek And Bondada Engineering

Pace Digitek and Bondada Engineering have secured Maharashtra State Power Generation Company’s engineering, procurement, and construction auction for 300 MW of solar projects. Pace Digitek won 200 MW, while Bondada Engineering received 100 MW. The tender was issued on October 11, 2024, and both companies will handle the full scope of work, including designing, engineering, manufacturing, performance demonstration, and commissioning of the solar projects. They will also provide operation and maintenance services for three years.

The contract value for Pace Digitek is ₹930 crore, and Bondada Engineering will execute its project for ₹465 crore. Each project must be set up at a single location with a minimum capacity of 50 MW. The developers are required to use only mono-crystalline solar modules listed in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers. The projects must be completed within 450 days from the date the companies accept their letters of award, marking a significant step in Maharashtra’s ongoing solar expansion.
