Stefan Messer, chairman of Messer’s supervisory board since 2023 and the company’s CEO prior to that through a period of dramatic change, has been recognised with a lifetime achievement award at the first-ever gasworld Global Innovation Awards, held in Bangkok in Thailand.
Messer graciously accepted the award and gave a heartfelt speech talking about the company and its complex, storied 127-year history. He brought his team up to the stage for the photos to mark the moment.
The glittering night in Thailand was a huge success, with winners and runners-up honoured at the Shangri-La Bangkok across a host of well-contested categories.
