Solar Innovation Shines Bright: LONGi Unveils Hi-MO X10 & Hi-MO 9 Solar Modules in Vietnam

LONGi, a pioneering force in the global solar technology industry, proudly unveiled its groundbreaking next-generation solar modules, the Hi-MO X10 and Hi-MO 9, at a prestigious event in Ho Chi Minh City. The occasion was graced by the presence of over 200 distinguished industry leaders, including representatives from key distributors, EPCs, DPPAs, and other esteemed partners. The Hi-MO X10, featuring HPBC 2.0 cell technology, marks a milestone upgrade and technological leap for LONGi’s products.

Unrivaled HPBC: LONGi’s Has Achieved No.1 Market Share in Vietnam

The Vietnam launch event highlighted LONGi’s innovative response to HPBC technology, which has great potential for solar energy applications. During the event, Ms. Ma Meng, General Manager of LONGi’s Thailand and Vietnam representative office, delivered a keynote speech on the advanced technology of HPBC technology and its transformative impact on the Vietnam solar market.

“Today, the PV industry recognizes that BC technology is the destination of crystalline silicon technology because it is closer to the limits of theoretical efficiency than others. We believe the industry has really ushered in the comprehensive ‘BC Era’, LONGi has realized a high market share in Vietnam through Hi-MO X6, especially the Anti-dust product. As a result, LONGi has achieved the No. 1 market share in Vietnam in 2024, which is the result of the trust and support of our customers.”

Hi-MO X10 Embracing Revolutionary Solar Cell Technology

Hi-MO X10 with advanced HPBC 2.0 technology and TaiRay silicon wafers. The Hi-MO X10 module retains key features while introducing new designs to address challenges in distributed solar markets. It resolves shading and hot spots with the soft breakdown design and integrates HPBC 2.0 technology for exceptional efficiency and reliability. With a power output of up to 670W and a conversion efficiency of 24.8%, the Hi-MO X10 represents a significant breakthrough in solar modules. It enhances energy yield, reduces costs, and improves product reliability. The Hi-MO X10’s innovative design removes circuit lines and bus bars, boosting power output by up to 5W and greatly improving power generation efficiency. The product’s launch marks an important milestone for LONGi and reinforces its dedication to delivering sustainable solar solutions, emphasizing that the Hi-MO X10 brings a new era to Vietnam.

Meanwhile, LONGi signed strategic cooperation agreements with major distributors during the launch session. Ms. Ma Meng expressed gratitude for the recognition of HPBC technology and LONGi’s market leadership in Vietnam. She anticipates that the Hi-MO X10 and its Anti-Dust products will continue to deliver more value to customers.

Vietnam Best Practice Sharing 2024: Successful Case of Anti-Dust Projects

During the Vietnam Best Practice Sharing, Mr. Duong Vu showcased a successful case study of an Anti-Dust accumulation project in Tan De Company. The project installed 11 MWp of rooftop PV systems across 9 factories using LONGi’s anti-dust PV module to maximize energy output. The system is expected to generate 12,603 MWh annually and reduce 8,527 tons of CO2 emissions annually, aligning Tan De with international green manufacturing standards.

“Dust accumulation often decreases power generation efficiency and leads to frequent cleaning, resulting in high maintenance costs. LONGi’s anti-dust product reduces the need for cleaning, saving time and costs. Additionally, the product delivers high energy yield, incorporates HPBC-leading technology, and has high efficiency, stability, and durability. These qualities contribute to its outstanding success in Vietnam’s market, making it an effective solution for dust-related issues,” said Mr. Duong Vu, Head of Technical Department of SEV.

Hi-MO X10’s Tailored for Vietnam’s Solar Needs

The Hi-MO X10 is perfectly adapted to Vietnam’s unique solar energy requirements, excelling in high-temperature conditions and diverse installation environments, including dust challenges. The product’s launch reinforces LONGi’s dedication to delivering cutting-edge solar solutions that foster sustainable energy adoption and support carbon neutrality goals in Vietnam.
