Galactica project in Colorado produces first helium

The Galactica project in Colorado reported its first helium in December, according to an update from Helium One Global.

Operational focus has now shifted to stabilising production throughput at the Pinyon Canyon plant and the first helium tube trailer is currently on currently on site for filling. The project operates as a joint venture between Helium One Global and Blue Star Helium, which is the operator.

Based on the value metrics set out by Blue Star Helium, each fully loaded trailer represents an estimated gross value of between $59,500 and $102,000.

Blue Star is pursuing short-term contracts “to secure immediate cash flow and long-term partnerships for stable revenue”. Further revenue growth is expected during the first half of 2026 through additional well tie-ins and infill.
