ACME Solar has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NHPC for a 250 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project. The agreement strengthens long-term renewable offtake, supports round-the-clock green power supply, and advances India’s goal of integrating reliable renewable energy into the national grid.

India must address high capital costs, land acquisition delays, and grid constraints to sustain renewable energy growth, the Economic Survey 2025–26 said.
