“At the Pinnacle of Silicon, Infinite Vision” LONGi Showcases BC Module Products at WFES 2025 in the Middle East

From January 14 to 16, 2025, the World Future Energy Summit (WFES 2025) was held in Abu Dhabi, UAE. At this influential event, LONGi presented its cutting-edge BC technology under the theme “BC Leading into Infinity,” showcasing its Hi-MO 9, Hi-MO X10 modules, and the comprehensive “PV+” solutions. Through product launches, customer signings, and interactive on-site engagements, LONGi demonstrated its technical innovations and solutions in the renewable energy sector, fostering deep connections with key industry customers and distributors. As the most impactful clean energy exhibition in the Middle East, WFES 2025 attracted over 20,000 visitors and more than 400 exhibitors.

Exquisite Innovation, Unlimited Potential

A standout feature of the event was LONGi’s “BC Center.” Powered by the cutting-edge n-type silicon wafers and the BC platform, the HPBC 2.0 cell combines advanced passivation and back-contact technologies to significantly enhance cell efficiency and module output. In May 2024, LONGi announced that its independently developed HBC cell achieved a record-breaking photoelectric conversion efficiency of 27.30%, setting a new benchmark for monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic cells. This remarkable achievement underscores LONGi’s technological leadership and its steadfast commitment to reducing the cost of energy and advancing renewable energy adoption.

Diverse Scenarios, Differentiated Products

Based on HPBC 2.0 cell technology, LONGi unveiled its differentiated Hi-MO 9 and Hi-MO X10 modules. These products deliver superior power generation performance, exceptional reliability, and high customer value, making them the top choice for various application scenarios.

Hi-MO 9: The Expert for Utility-Scale Solar Power Plants

As global demand for renewable energy continues to grow, utility-scale power plants face challenges such as limited land resources and high installation costs, requiring modules with enhanced performance and reliability.
LONGi’s Hi-MO 9 module is designed to meet these demands by ensuring high power generation performance and reliability throughout the lifecycle of utility-scale plants. Compared to other TOPCon modules, Hi-MO 9 excels in power generation and reliability, achieving a module efficiency of up to 24.43%. With a 6%-8% increase in power generation per unit area, it offers enhanced customer value and economic benefits for the utility-scale PV market.

Hi-MO X10: The Preferred Choice for Distributed Scenarios

Distributed PV markets feature diverse and complex application scenarios with varying needs. The primary requirement is to maximize power generation and returns within limited installation areas while ensuring the module’s adaptability to different environmental conditions over a 25+ year lifecycle.

LONGi’s Hi-MO X10 module addresses these challenges with superior power generation performance and outstanding reliability. It innovatively tackles issues such as shading and localized high temperatures in distributed settings. Its unique low-conduction design reduces overheating risk by more than 28%. Rigorous testing has proven its exceptional resistance to UV radiation, humidity, and thermal cycling, significantly enhancing long-term reliability and safety. With a maximum power output of 670W and an efficiency of 24.8%, the Hi-MO X10 surpasses mainstream TOPCon products by 30W, maximizing installation potential and delivering superior economic benefits to customers.

“PV+”, Holistic Expertise Beyond Modules

In addition to high-efficiency modules, LONGi’s comprehensive “PV+” solutions garnered significant attention. These include the “PV+ Scenario,” “PV+ GSE Digital Solution,” and “PV+ Green Hydrogen” solutions, showcasing LONGi’s capabilities as a provider of end-to-end integrated energy solutions.

Customized Solutions for the Middle East’s Unique Environment

To address the dusty and windy conditions of the Middle East, LONGi introduced its region-specific Edge series modules. Featuring the high-strength frame and anti-dust glass, these modules enhance load performance in high-wind environments and reduce dust accumulation, increasing overall power generation by more than 2%.

PV+ GSE Digital Solution

LONGi’s “PV+ GSE Digital Solution” provides end-to-end support throughout the entire lifecycle of PV power station development, design, and operation & maintenance. It addresses challenges such as complex design processes, high reliance on expertise, low design efficiency, and manual optimization difficulties. By offering optimized designs and intelligent management, the solution improves design efficiency and reduces the levelized cost of energy (LCOE).

Green Hydrogen Technology

As part of the “PV+” solutions, LONGi also showcased its advancements in green hydrogen technology, including alkaline water electrolysis equipment and a comprehensive “Green Power + Green Hydrogen” solution, contributing to the transformation of green energy.

At WFES 2025, LONGi’s technological innovations, superior product performance, and comprehensive end-to-end solutions infused confidence and possibilities into the global clean energy market. Looking ahead, LONGi remains committed to driving innovation and shouldering its responsibility to optimize the accessibility and affordability of clean energy, contributing to the global energy transition.
