PM Narendra Modi Shares Article Highlighting India’s Transformative Energy Transition

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday shared an article authored by Union Minister of State Shripad Yesso Naik, outlining the rapid transformation of India’s power and energy sector.

According to the article, India’s energy transition is witnessing unprecedented scale and resilience, driven by pragmatic policy frameworks and institutional efforts. It emphasizes that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the country is steadily advancing towards a structured and policy-driven clean energy transition.

The article further notes that India is emerging as a significant global player in renewable energy (RE) generation capacity, reflecting strong growth in its clean energy ecosystem. It highlights that the transition is anchored in key pillars such as electrification, expansion of clean energy, and strengthening domestic manufacturing capabilities, aligned with the vision of Aatmanirbharta (self-reliance).
