Kenya Clean Energy Week 2026 Celebrates Industry Excellence with Kenya Clean Energy Leadership Awards & Future Energy Leadership Awards

Kenya Clean Energy Week 2026 concluded with a distinguished evening of recognition and industry celebration through the Kenya Clean Energy Leadership Awards 2026 and Future Energy Leadership Awards, honouring the companies, innovators, teams, and individuals driving the growth of East Africa’s clean energy ecosystem.

Hosted on April 16, 2026 at Emara Hotel Ole Sereni, Nairobi, the ceremony marked the culmination of a high impact day of discussions, networking, and collaboration focused on advancing solar, storage, and smart energy adoption across the region . The awards recognised organisations and professionals demonstrating excellence across business performance, technology innovation, project execution, sustainability impact, and leadership within Kenya’s rapidly evolving energy landscape. The awards were presented by Mr Victor Omindo, State Department of Energy Liaison, Ministry of Energy, celebrating contributions across solar, storage, and emerging clean energy technologies.

The evening reflected Kenya’s strong clean energy momentum, with over 80 percent of the country’s installed electricity capacity already derived from renewable sources and a clear national focus on scaling solar deployment, strengthening grid resilience, and enabling private sector participation.
