Solar & Storage Zambia 2026 concluded with an evening of recognition and industry celebration through the Solar & Storage Zambia Awards 2026, honouring organisations, institutions, and professionals contributing to the growth of Zambia’s renewable energy sector.
Hosted on May 27, 2026, in Lusaka, the awards ceremony marked the culmination of a day of discussions, networking, and collaboration focused on advancing solar energy, energy storage, energy access, and sustainable development across Zambia. The awards recognised excellence in leadership, technology innovation, project execution, renewable energy advocacy, and institutional support.
The awards were presented by Mr. Albert Halwampa, Director General, Zambia Development Agency (ZDA), and Mr. Matanda Mwewa, President, Solar Industry Association of Zambia (SIAZ), celebrating the individuals and organisations helping drive Zambia’s clean energy transition.
The evening reflected Zambia’s growing momentum in solar and energy storage deployment as the country continues to strengthen energy security, expand renewable energy capacity, and attract investment into the sector.
