Maharashtra Urja Expo 2026 concluded successfully in Nagpur after two impactful days of industry dialogue, technology showcases, business networking and policy engagement that reinforced Maharashtra’s position as one of India’s most active renewable energy markets.
Jointly organised by FirstView Media Ventures Pvt. Ltd. and the Maharashtra Clean Energy Alliance (MCEA), the second edition brought together policymakers, government officials, developers, EPC contractors, manufacturers, financiers, investors, technology providers and clean energy professionals from across Maharashtra and beyond.
Held at Le Méridien Nagpur on June 5-6, 2026, the Expo emerged as one of Western India’s leading platforms focused on renewable energy, energy storage, open access, rooftop solar, industrial decarbonisation and clean energy innovation.
The Expo was inaugurated by Shri Pankaj Tagalpallewar, Chief Engineer (Special Projects), MSEDCL, who highlighted Maharashtra’s renewable energy ambitions and the opportunities emerging across the state’s evolving clean energy landscape.
The event was also honoured by the presence of Shri Chandrashekhar Krishnarao Bawankule, Hon’ble Minister of Revenue, Government of Maharashtra and Guardian Minister of Nagpur & Amravati District, whose participation reinforced the state’s commitment towards accelerating renewable energy adoption, sustainable development and clean energy investment.
The event also featured a keynote address by Shri Sarang Mahajan, Regional Director, Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA), who shared insights on Maharashtra’s evolving renewable energy landscape, policy priorities and opportunities shaping the state’s clean energy future.
With participation from over 2,500 attendees, 50+ exhibitors and 80+ speakers, the event reflected the growing momentum across Maharashtra’s renewable energy ecosystem and the increasing importance of collaboration between government, industry and investment stakeholders.
Recognition Platforms Celebrating Industry Excellence
A key highlight of Maharashtra Urja Expo 2026 was the Maharashtra Urja Expo Awards 2026 and PM Surya Ghar Excellence Awards 2026, recognising organisations, entrepreneurs, EPC companies, innovators, professionals and technology leaders driving measurable impact across solar deployment, renewable energy development, project execution, manufacturing excellence, rooftop solar adoption, energy storage and clean energy innovation.
