Energy solutions provider Gashub has completed a liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage and a regasification facility at global automotive company Rolls-Royce’s Seletar Aerospace Park in Singapore.

The project comprises of four 10-cubic-metre LNG microbulk storage tanks and a regasification facility as Roll-Royce transitions from compressed natural gas to LNG for on-site energy needs.

Gashub will also supply LNG and provide maintenance services to the site. It said the effort will lower carbon emissions related to transport, reduce energy-related costs, and improve fuel supply certainty.

According to Rolls-Royce, its Seletar Campus, which covers civil aerospace, defence, and power system capabilities, contributes more than 14% of Singapore’s aerospace output.

Since 2020, Rolls-Royce has reduced its facility-wide energy usage by 23% and lowered its greenhouse gas emissions by 41%.

Gashub is a majority-owned subsidiary of Singaporean investment firm H2G Green.
