GoodWe Named S&P Global Energy Tier 1 PV Inverter Supplier for Second Consecutive Year

GoodWe has been named a Tier 1 PV Inverter Supplier by S&P Global Energy for the 2026 reporting year, marking the second consecutive year the company has received the designation. The recognition highlights GoodWe’s market presence, financial strength, corporate sustainability and global diversification.

S&P Global Energy’s Tier 1 Cleantech Companies assessment evaluates suppliers across six key parameters, including market presence, market share, scale, global diversification, corporate sustainability and financial performance. The 2026 assessment also incorporates credit risk as a core component of financial performance.

GoodWe said the recognition supports its broader transition from a PV inverter manufacturer to an integrated smart energy solutions provider. The company has expanded its portfolio to include energy storage systems (ESS) for residential, commercial and industrial, and utility-scale applications, alongside controllable loads such as EV chargers and heat pumps.

These assets are managed through GoodWe’s intelligent software platform, which is designed to optimise energy performance and resource allocation.

Founded in 2010, GoodWe has surpassed 100 GW of installations globally, supported by 12 international subsidiaries, 30 sales and service centres, and more than 1,000 R&D professionals. The company said its Generation-Grid-Load-Storage-Intelligence strategy is aimed at supporting the integration of renewable energy and advancing its global energy transition portfolio.
