Illinois-based industrial products manufacturer Dover is looking to expand its footprint in the Indian cryogenics market, having signed an agreement to acquire Leistung Engineering.
Based in Ahmedabad, India, Leistung specialises in the design and manufacture of cryogenic valves for liquefied natural gas (LNG), industrial gas, and other low-temperature applications, as well as diaphragm valves, filtration systems, and related products.
Once the transaction is complete, Leistung will become part of OPW Fluid Transfer Solutions within Dover’s clean energy and fuelling segment.
The acquisition will also add Leistung’s Ahmedabad manufacturing facility to Dover’s footprint in India, while expanding its cryogenic manufacturing capabilities.
David Malinas, President of OPW, said the deal would strengthen the company’s ability to serve the Indian market, which he identified as a growing opportunity.
Leistung has delivered solid organic growth over the past three years, supported by ongoing research and development (R&D), new product launches, and a strong engineering team.
The transaction is expected to close in the final quarter of the year, subject to customary closing conditions. Financial terms were not disclosed.
