North Carolina-headquartered industrial gas equipment distributor Equigas has formed authorised distributor partnerships with cylinder manufacturer Norris Cylinder and cryogenic transport and storage tank specialist Premier Cryogenic Services (PCS).
Equigas will stock products from both Texas-based companies at its locations in North Carolina, Florida, and California.
Norris Cylinder, a TriMas company, manufactures high- and low-pressure cylinders for applications including welding, medical, laboratory, food and beverage, fire protection, and aviation.
Norris Cylinder describes itself as the only US manufacturer of steel high-pressure cylinders for industrial gases, with manufacturing facilities in Texas and Alabama.
PCS specialises in the design and manufacture of new cryogenic and carbon dioxide (CO2) transport and micro bulk equipment.
It also tests and services cryogenic containers and transport trailers from its Texas, Louisiana, and Indiana locations.
Equigas’s sister company Correct Cryogenics has locations in California and North Carolina, where PCS customers can access minor repairs and one- and five-year trailer inspections.
The partnership comes as PCS plans to expand into the manufacture of cryogenic bulk tanks, microbulk tanks, and liquid cylinders in the near term.
