James Buskowitz Named CEO of the Year at the Grand Masters Awards 2026

James Carlos Buskowitz, Founder and CEO of Buskowitz Energy Inc., has been named CEO of the Year at the Grand Masters Awards 2026, presented during the Philippines Clean Energy Leadership Awards 2026 at Philippines Clean Energy Week 2026.

The award recognises Buskowitz for his entrepreneurial vision and executive leadership in developing an integrated platform that combines clean-energy project development, institutional capital, technical execution, operations and long-term asset management.

Under his leadership, Buskowitz Energy has expanded its capabilities across the complete commercial and industrial solar project lifecycle. This integrated approach enables the organisation to move projects from early-stage development and financing through engineering, construction, operation and ongoing performance management.

The recognition reflects the importance of leadership that connects commercial strategy with technical delivery. Scaling distributed renewable energy requires more than identifying project opportunities—it demands access to capital, disciplined execution, strong operational systems and a long-term commitment to asset performance.

By bringing these capabilities together, Buskowitz has helped position the organisation to support businesses seeking practical and scalable pathways to renewable-energy adoption. The company’s model demonstrates how coordinated development, financing and technical expertise can accelerate the deployment of commercial and industrial clean-energy projects across the Philippines.

The CEO of the Year award also acknowledges his role in guiding the organisation through the complexities of a growing distributed-energy market. These include managing diverse customer requirements, developing viable project structures, maintaining execution quality and ensuring that operating assets continue to deliver long-term value.

The Grand Masters Awards 2026 formed part of the recognition programme at Philippines Clean Energy Week 2026, held on 09 October 2026 at Sheraton Manila Bay. The event brought together policymakers, renewable-energy developers, investors, financiers, EPC companies, technology providers, corporate energy users and sustainability leaders.

Its programme featured opening and keynote addresses, three strategic panel discussions, two exclusive leadership roundtables, an industry exhibition, networking sessions and the Philippines Clean Energy Leadership Awards 2026. Conversations addressed renewable-energy development, battery storage, grid transformation, distributed solar, industrial decarbonisation, project performance and green finance.

Receiving the CEO of the Year honour represents a significant recognition of James Buskowitz’s leadership and his contribution to advancing commercially viable distributed renewable-energy deployment in the Philippines.
