KAG acquires Evergreen Transport in Alabama

The Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) has acquired Evergreen Transport, an Alabama-based transportation company.

As part of the transaction, over 100 professional drivers and 45 operational members will join KAG. The company will also acquire 158 tractors, 338 trailers, and four terminal and satellite locations throughout Alabama.

Rich Hoyle, Executive Vice-President of Dry Bulk at KAG, said that Evergreen’s business model complements KAG’s current dry bulk operations, which the company has been growing over the last 12 months.

Evergreen delivers products such as lime and cement into a variety of end markets.
