US education centre launched to raise beverage dispensing standards

The International Beverage Dispensing Equipment Association (IBDEA) has partnered with Michigan-based soda syrups, beverage gases, and equipment installation business Leonard’s Syrups to launch a new educational programme aimed at advancing standards in draught beverage dispensing.

The IBDEAU Leonard Bugajewski Learning Centre consists of two core programmes – the draught beverage academy and the dispensed beverage academy. It will be hosted at Leonard’s Syrups’ facility in Michigan.

The academy will cover soda system setup, CO2 safety, and equipment operation, while the draught beverage academy will focus on draught beer system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Leonard Bugajewski, CEO of Leonard’s Syrups, said the initiative would help to build a new generation of industry professionals.
