Air Liquide confident of maintaining momentum in second half of 2025

Air Liquide expects to record the same top line momentum for the rest of this year as a result of improving market sentiment and structural changes, according to CEO Francois Jackow.

Speaking on a webinar following the release of positive , he said, “We expect to see the same momentum in terms of project development, with a strong portfolio in electronics and the energy transition. We are extremely focused on the execution … and making significant progress. We were a very decentralised operation and people could pick and choose what they wanted to do – we are much more streamlined and clear on what are the expectations. We will continue to really focus on what we can control, and leverage the to continue to deliver higher profitability.”

Internal changes have seen three management layers stripped, clusters reduced from 11 to eight and procurement and IT units cut from seven and eight respectively to one apiece.

A slide highlighted existing assets, core investment, energy transition and acquisitions as its four key growth engines.
