Air Products’ Board of Directors has elected Howard Ungerleider as a Director, effective 1 September, where he will serve as a member of the Audit and Finance Committee.
Wayne T. Smith, Chairman of the Board, said he brings more than 30 years of global business and financial leadership experience in the chemicals and specialty materials industries.
Ungerleider – who is a member of the boards of directors of American Airlines Group and Kyndryl Holdings – served as Operating Advisor for Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, a leading private equity firm, since 2024.
Previously he held various positions at Dow and its predecessors, DowDuPont and Dow Chemical, including President [2018-2023], Chief Financial Officer [2014-2023], Executive Vice President, Advanced Materials [2012-2014], and Senior Vice President and President, Performance Plastics [2011-2012].
