Arevon Energy, Inc., a leader in renewable energy development and operations, has announced the appointment of Shanelle Montana as Chief Development Officer (CDO), effective immediately. This newly created role underscores Arevon’s dedication to accelerating its project development initiatives. Montana, known for her expertise with large-scale renewable energy companies, brings a proven track record of driving growth and expanding project pipelines. She will spearhead strategic efforts to advance Arevon’s development capabilities and reinforce its leadership in the renewable energy sector.
Montana joins Arevon from Lightsource bp, where she served as Senior Vice President of Portfolio Management, overseeing a 20-gigawatt pipeline of solar and energy storage projects across the U.S. With prior roles at BayWa r.e. and EDF Renewables, she has led utility-scale project development, from greenfield origination to construction, while managing critical functions such as permitting, community relations, and environmental assessments.
