ASTRO N7: Powering the Future with Advanced Bifacial Solar Technology

Astronergy’s ASTRO N7 solar module represents a bold leap in photovoltaic innovation, engineered to meet the evolving demands of utility-scale and high-efficiency solar projects. With a power output ranging from 605W to 630W and module efficiency reaching up to 23.3%, the N7 product delivers exceptional energy generation backed by reliable long-term performance.

At the heart of the ASTRO N7 is Astronergy’s latest n-type TOPCon 4.0 cell technology. This next-generation advancement significantly improves energy conversion, while offering better temperature performance and lower degradation. The module maintains just 1.0% power degradation in the first year and only 0.4% annually from year two through thirty—guaranteeing sustained efficiency over its lifespan.

Designed as a bifacial module, the ASTRO N7 captures solar energy from both sides, effectively increasing total yield. With potential rear-side power gains of up to 25%, the module can deliver up to 769W under optimal conditions. Its low open-circuit voltage (Voc) enables more modules to be connected in a single string, optimizing system design and reducing balance of system (BOS) costs.

The module’s SMBB (Super Multi-Busbar) layout ensures improved current collection and reduced power loss, even under partial shading. Structurally, the product is built for resilience. It features dual 2.0 mm tempered glass layers and an anodized aluminum frame, withstanding mechanical loads of up to 5400 Pa on the front and 2400 Pa on the rear. Additional design features such as IP68-rated junction boxes and high system voltage capacity (up to 1500VDC) further enhance safety and reliability.

Backed by a 15-year product warranty and a 30-year linear power warranty, the ASTRO N7 is not just a high-performance module—it’s a long-term investment in clean, efficient solar energy.
