Atlas Copco acquires fellow compressed air specialist

Global compressed air and vacuum solutions specialist Atlas Copco has acquired SUTO iTEC (SUTO), a fellow specialist in measurement and monitoring solutions for compressed air and gases.

SUTO is headquartered in Hong Kong and has operations in China and Germany. The company has 136 employees, all of which will join Atlas Copco as part of the transaction.

The company’s solutions include flow, power and dew point meters, leak detectors, and compressed air purity analysers. These offerings serve manufacturing, food and beverage, automotive, pharmaceutical, and electronic industries.

Once acquired, SUTO will become part of the Service Division within Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business area.
