Compressed air and vacuum solutions company Atlas Copco has acquired fellow compressed air specialist Compressors Australia, expanding its presence in Brisbane and Melbourne.
Now part of the service division within Atlas Copco’s compressor technique business area, Compressors Australia specialises in the sale, service, and distribution of air compressors.
The company generated sales of approximately $4.8m AUD ($3.45m) in 2025, supporting customers primarily operating in general industry.
As part of the acquisition, nine Compressors Australia employees will join Atlas Copco.
Simultaneously, Atlas Copco has acquired Irish process filtration solutions distributor Hall Pyke.
Headquartered in Dublin, Hall Pyke distributes liquid, gas and air filtration, separation, and purification solutions for industrial applications.
It provides technical support, covering integrity testing, filterability studies, validation services, and on-site maintenance, across the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceuticals, food and beverage, chemical and general industry sectors.
Philippe Ernens, Business Area President, Compressor Technique, said the acquisition expands Atlas Copco Group’s offering beyond core air and gas filtration systems into liquid and critical process filtration and related services.
Hall Pyke will become part of the medical gas solutions division within Atlas Copco’s compressor technique business area.
The acquisitions build on earlier compressor technique business acquisitions made , , and of this year.
