Bluefors opens first US lab in Chicago to boost quantum research

Cryogenic measurement systems specialist Bluefors has brought its lab services to the US for the first time, having opened a new facility in Chicago.

Bluefors Lab in the US state will provide start-ups, research groups, and other organisations access to a cryogenic measurement system with a service-based model.

It will feature a Bluefors LD400 dilution refrigerator and additional experimental space. The service also includes access to Quantum Machines’ OPX 1000 hybrid control electronics with modules for five-qubit measurements.

Additional measurement electronics and infrastructure can be added by lab users.
