Bridge And Roof Co. Invites Bids For 100 MW Solar Project In Rajasthan

Bridge and Roof Co. (India) Limited has invited online tenders for the balance of system (BOS) package for the design, engineering, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 100 MW (AC) solar power project at Nawa, Didwana Kuchaman, Rajasthan. The selected contractor will also be responsible for the project’s operation and maintenance for three years.

The bid submission follows a two-part system, with technical and financial proposals submitted separately. Interested bidders must meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. The tender documents outline the necessary details, including general and special conditions of the contract, technical specifications, and price schedules. The contract includes specific requirements related to local content, bank guarantees, and security deposits.

The tender requires an earnest money deposit (EMD) in the form of a bank guarantee, as specified in Appendix VIII. Additionally, the successful bidder must provide a performance bank guarantee (PBG) upon award of the contract. The submission deadline will be 9th April 2025 and the date of Opening of Technical Bid will be 10th April 2025

Prospective bidders must provide various supporting documents, including a power of attorney, qualifying criteria compliance, and a declaration of knowledge of site conditions. The contract will follow a single percentage rate format, and the bids will be evaluated based on financial and technical aspects.

Bridge and Roof Co. (India) Limited has specified detailed instructions for bidders, covering payment terms, a responsibility matrix, and time schedules. The company will conduct a comprehensive review of the bids, and only those meeting the technical requirements will proceed to financial evaluation.

The project aims to enhance solar power infrastructure in Rajasthan, contributing to India’s renewable energy goals. Bidders must submit their proposals through the online portal before the specified deadline, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.
