Compression technology company Burckhardt Compression has opened two new service centres in Ontario, Canada, and Pennsylvania, US.
The news follows the company’s recent acquisition of Advanced Compressor Technology (ACT), a US-based specialist in reciprocating compressor services and component manufacturing with operations in Illinois and Texas.
Burckhardt purchased the company in September to strengthen its local service and spare parts capabilities for downstream, industrial gas, and petrochemical customers.
Both developments are part of the company’s efforts to expand local support and service capabilities across the continent.
