Canadian Solar Inc. announced that its energy storage subsidiary, e-STORAGE, has been selected to deliver a fully integrated energy storage system and turnkey EPC services for the 411 MW/1,858 MWh Skyview 2 Energy Storage Project in Edwardsburgh Cardinal, Ontario.
Developed by Potentia Renewables Inc. in partnership with the Algonquins of Pikwàkanagàn First Nation, the project was awarded under Ontario’s Long-Term Reliability (LT1) energy storage procurement.
e-STORAGE will supply about 390 SolBank 3.0 units, with shipments beginning in February 2026 and full operation targeted for Q2 2027. The scope includes system integration, substation works, and grid interconnection, alongside a 21-year long-term service agreement ensuring sustained performance. With over 8 GWh of storage deployed across North America, Skyview 2 strengthens e-STORAGE’s leadership in delivering large-scale, high-reliability energy storage solutions.
