Central McGowan and Minneapolis Oxygen buy CO2 specialist in Missouri

Central McGowan and Minneapolis Oxygen, two just-merged industrial gas distributors, have acquired M&H Gas & Midwest Hydro Testing (M&H Gas), a beverage-grade bulk carbon dioxide (CO2) specialist.

Based in Missouri, M&H Gas is the Midwest’s largest provider of bulk CO2 systems for the food service and hospitality industries. The company has over 5,000 customers across the region.

The purchase is part of Central McGowan and Minneapolis Oxygen’s wider expansion into new markets. It also strengthens its presence in the CO2 industry.

Joe Francis, CEO of Central McGowan, said the deal meant the company could grow in CO2 in the Midwest.
