US industrial gas and welding supplies company Central Welding Supply has acquired Washington-based gas and welding equipment servicing business Torch and Regulator Repair (T&R Repair).
T&R Repair serves the northwest region from its Tacoma location, offering servicing of manual cutting torches, machine torches, and specialised gas apparatus.
As part of the acquisition, owner Tom Fitzpatrick – whose family has owned the business for almost five decades – and his employees will join the Central Welding Supply team.
Central Welding Supply operates across Washington, Oregon, and Alaska, and distributes industrial, medical, specialty, food-grade, and bulk gases, as well as safety supplies, welding equipment, equipment rental, and repair services.
This news follows Central Welding Supply’s of the steel and materials operations of Alaska-based Morgan Steel.
