CM2 Supply expands US Midwest footprint with Toll Gas acquisition

CM2 Supply, formed from the merger of distributors Central McGowan and Minneapolis Oxygen, has acquired Toll Gas, a fellow industrial gas and welding supply distributor.

Focused on the US Midwest, Toll Gas offers a range of industrial gases, welding equipment, and related solutions to customers across manufacturing, fabrication, and industrial operations.

CM2 Supply said the acquisition will strengthen its regional presence and better support its customers, with its CEO Joe Francis describing the news as an “important step forward” for the business.

“Bringing our teams together allows us to expand our capabilities while staying true to [our] values,” he added.

Launched CM2 Supply is a Midwest industrial gas and welding distributor, following the March 2025 merger of Central McGowan and Minneapolis Oxygen.

CM2 Supply has 20 locations across Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri, built on its Central McGowan and Minneapolis Oxygen roots.
