Control Devices, a specialty valve and flow-control manufacturer serving industrial and specialty gas markets and a portfolio company of HMB Holdings, has acquired Sherwood Valve, a Pennsylvania-based producer of technical gas valves and flow-control components.
The deal brings Sherwood’s engineering, manufacturing, and application expertise into Control Devices, expanding its design and development capabilities in system-critical flow control.
As part of the transaction, 75 Sherwood Valve employees have joined Control Devices.
Jim Norris, President and CEO of Control Devices, said the acquisition strengthens the company’s market position.
