DMEGC Solar Achieves Dual SSI ESG Silver Certifications

DMEGC Solar has reached a major milestone in sustainable development, as its two module production bases in Sihong and Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province, earned Silver certification from the Solar Stewardship Initiative (SSI), the highest level in the photovoltaic industry. This recognition highlights DMEGC Solar’s strong ESG practices and growing international credibility.

The SSI is a solar sustainability assurance program launched by Solar Power Europe and Solar Energy UK to promote a responsible and transparent solar value chain. Its ESG standards assess companies across governance and business ethics, environmental protection, and human and labor rights. According to SSI policy, all modules exported to core European markets by members must meet ESG management and traceability requirements within three years, making certification an increasingly important gateway for international competitiveness.

DMEGC Solar’s certification confirms that 100% of its N-type modules meet SSI standards, reinforcing the company’s position in European markets. The company integrates sustainable development into its core strategy, continually improving corporate governance and balancing economic, environmental, and social value. Its ESG performance has been recognized by leading institutions, including MSCI ESG BBB, CDP Water Security A-, Climate Change B, and Ecovadis Silver ratings.

Achieving SSI Silver certification at both bases strengthens DMEGC Solar’s international market credibility and competitiveness while driving further ESG system development, supporting a more transparent, responsible, and sustainable photovoltaic industry globally.
