ECI acquires Davisware to grow into new markets

Business management software company ECI Software Solutions (ECI) has acquired specialist industrial software business Davisware to expand its footprint in the commercial HVAC and refrigeration business, among other industries.

The purchase will see Davisware’s software suite, which includes Vision, GlobalEdge, and GlobalWarranty, become part of ECI’s offer.

In addition to the HVAC and refrigerant business, Davisware is active supporting commercial food equipment, petroleum equipment, and overhead garage door customers in North America.

Trevor Gruenewald, CEO of ECI Software Solutions, said the companies are aligned when it comes to innovation, customer value, and industry leadership.
