Specialty chemical technology firm Element Solutions has signed a deal to acquire Massachusetts-based high-purity rare gas technologies company EFC Gases & Advanced Materials (EFC).
EFC works across the semiconductor manufacturing, aerospace, and electrical infrastructure industries, supplying high-purity speciality gases and other advanced materials.
Back in May, the company secured an up to $5m, to support NASA’s xenon gas reprocessing needs.
Since 2023, EFC has also grown the number of semiconductor product qualifications in its portfolio by more than 40%.
