Enphase Energy, Inc., a global leader in energy technology and the top supplier of micro inverter-based solar and battery systems, has announced the launch of its IQ® System Controller in France and the Netherlands. This latest innovation strengthens Enphase’s footprint in Europe by offering homeowners a comprehensive, integrated energy management solution designed to ensure uninterrupted power during grid outages.

The new IQ System Controller 3 INT brings together several core components—IQ® Microinverters, IQ® Battery 5P units, the IQ® Gateway, and the IQ® Relay—into a single, compact enclosure. By consolidating all critical interconnection equipment, Enphase provides an efficient and pre-wired solution that simplifies installation and supports grid-independent operation. The system includes production and consumption current transformers (CTs) for accurate monitoring, and features an integrated cellular modem to ensure strong and consistent system connectivity.

Marvin Cathelot, GM at Sarl Cathelot, an installer of Enphase products in France, mentioned, “The IQ System Controller offers superior convenience and safety for homeowners. It integrates seamlessly with the IQ Battery 5P, providing a robust and dependable solution for backup power. This system allows us to confidently deliver backup power solutions that meet the high expectations of our customers in France.”

Twan Geurts van Kessel, owner of Solar Concept, an installer of Enphase products in the Netherlands, stated, “We’ve seen increasing demand for battery backup systems, and the IQ System Controller is exactly what our customers need. Its pre-wired design and compatibility with Enphase solar and battery products make installation smooth and efficient.”

Sabbas Daniel, senior vice president of sales at Enphase Energy, said in a statement, “Our expansion into the European market with the IQ System Controller is another important milestone for Enphase as we continue to grow our footprint across the globe. Our latest technology is designed to deliver maximum power and energy efficiency, ensuring that households in France and the Netherlands have access to reliable energy whenever they need it.”

Capable of supporting up to four IQ Battery 5P units, the system delivers up to 20 kWh of storage capacity, giving homeowners the ability to power essential appliances through extended outages. One of the standout features of this new system is Sunlight Jump Start™, a unique functionality of the IQ8 Microinverters that allows the system to restart the batteries using only solar energy after a complete drain during a prolonged grid disruption.

All IQ System Controller setups activated in France and the Netherlands come with a 10-year warranty, underlining Enphase’s commitment to product quality and long-term customer support. By combining robust backup capabilities with easy installation and smart connectivity, this product is set to empower more European households to gain energy independence and resilience while advancing toward a sustainable energy future.
