Exports of medical oxygen tech drive growth at French manufacturer

Sales of generators for on-site medical oxygen are driving growth at France-based engineering business Mil’s, which is seeing notably strong sales for its vacuum pressure swing adsorption (VPSA) oxygen generators.

The Lyon-headquartered company’s VPSA generators are proving popular for delivering high-purity oxygen and for being more energy efficient to run than conventional PSA oxygen generators, said Managing Director Christian Pic.

“We are an export-led business, and our single fastest growth area today is VPSA oxygen generators,” said Pic.

He said the company’s key product, the PRO2XY Vac oxygen generator, has an excellent record in service and the output is 95% oxygen, which is better than many alternatives.
