GCE expands global reach with medical gas buys and digital drive

Gas control equipment manufacturer GCE is reshaping its medical gas business through a wave of acquisitions and new digital initiatives that extend its reach “from plant to patient.”

The Europe-based manufacturer, part of ESAB Corporation, has bought Delta P Gas Equipment in Italy and Aktiv Technologies in India – deals that deepen its technical capabilities and open new channels in two of the world’s most active healthcare markets.

“The acquisitions mean we can now say to the market that we have every solution needed to transport gas, from its source in a hospital right the way through to the patient or the surgery,” said Emmanuel de Garsignies, Vice-President and General Manager for GCE Medical Europe, India and China. “We meet all global standards and have a manufacturing presence in all the key regions we want to grow in.”
