ib vogt Appoints Andreas Schell as New CEO, Succeeding Anton Milner

Andreas Schell, Chief Executive Officer, ib vogt

International renewable energy development platform ib vogt has announced the appointment of Andreas Schell as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately. This leadership transition sees Anton Milner stepping down from the CEO role after a 15-year tenure. Milner will continue to support the company in his role as a shareholder.

Andreas Schell brings extensive international leadership experience across the energy, aerospace, and automotive sectors. He most recently served as CEO of EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG and Rolls-Royce Power Systems. Prior to those roles, Schell held senior executive positions at UTC Aerospace Systems and DaimlerChrysler AG, where he led global teams in engineering, strategy, and systems innovation.

This transition marks a significant new chapter for ib vogt as it scales its global renewable energy platform and furthers its mission of developing sustainable infrastructure.

Anton Milner commented: “Leading ib vogt has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built together over the last fifteen years. However, next year I will be turning sixty-five and after such a long tenure in the position, I do think new leadership, new thoughts, new ideas, & new energy will be very good for the company. I am extremely pleased that Andreas has agreed to take on the role and will be leading the company into the next phase of its development. He brings a wealth of strategic and operational expertise and experience which will be invaluable as ib vogt continues to grow and develop.”

New CEO Andreas Schell said: “I am honoured to join ib vogt at such a pivotal time. The company has established itself as a global leader in renewable energy. Together with the excellent management team we will work hard to capitalise on its strong pipeline.

As our industry continues to evolve through consolidation and technological advancement, I am confident that ib vogt is uniquely positioned to lead the transition toward sustainable and affordable energy. I thank the shareholders for their trust and look forward to building on the strong foundation that Anton has laid.”
